 What is Teflon and How Does it Work? 
 
 Teflon is used as a coating on a range of products. Teflon is not a specific chemical or product name. The Teflon brand represents a family of high-performance products that are used in a wide variety of industrial applications and consumer applications. The Teflon brand has come to represent a variety of benefits to consumers including easy clean, non-stick, water repellence and durability. 
 
 In apparel, Teflon fabric protector fends off soil, stains and spills on wool, cotton, and blends without impacting the fabric’s weight, look, feel, colour or breathability. 
 
 Fabrics treated for repellency fight off dry soil and nasty, unpredictable spills and splashes, allowing liquids to bead up and roll off.  How to Measure Your Jacket Size 
 
 Why is it important? 
 
 Properly measuring yourself can ensure you get the perfect fit you expect from a Walker & Hawkes jacket. 
 
 How to and what you will need 
 
 You will need either: 
 
 - a measuring tape 
 
 - or a piece of string and a ruler 
 
 How to: 
 
 1) Keep your arms down by your side and wrap the measuring tape or piece of string beneath your arms around the fullest part of your chest. 
 
 2) Mark the spot where the two ends meet around your chest (ensure it is firmly wrapped around) 
 
 If you are using a measuring tape, note down the measurement in inches. 
 
 If you are using a string, straighten out the string that was wrapped around your head and measure using the ruler. 
 
 If your measurement is in CM, you will have to convert it to inches (divide by 2.54).

 Made in Britain using top quality Derby Tweed, we strive to bring you a jacket manufactured to the highest of standards. We have been developing this jacket for over 20 years, so you can be assured you’re receiving a jacket made by professionals. The Tweed is twill woven. Twill is a type of textile weave with the yarns packed very closely together making it thick and tightly woven - resulting in a durable fabric which can withstand wear and tear. This type of weaving can be made in a multi-tone pattern, which has diagonal parallel ribs. The tweed is spun yarn, making it softer and less prone to snagging. We have also treated the tweed with a Teflon fabric protector. This works like a protective barrier around each fibre of the fabric to help fend off water, dirt and stains - all while not affecting the fabrics weight, look, feel, colour, or breathability. 
 
 Our Shooting Jacket has a roomy fit so you can fit extra layers on the inside whilst ensuring freedom of movement during your activities.
